Captain America star Chris Evans once again proved he's a real-life hero. He has sent a real Captain America shield to a boy who saved his little sister from a dog attack.

There's a hero in all of us. Yet, not everyone is courageous enough to risk their own lives to save someone else.

Well, this 6-year-old boy did exactly that! Oh, we can learn so much from kids!

While playing with his sister, Bridger, from Wyoming, realized a German shepherd dog was about to attack his younger sister. So, he quickly stepped up and leaped in front of her to protect her.

As a result, the dog bit him instead, leaving him with severe injuries to his face and head. But still, he managed to grab his sister by the hand and run to safety.

Bridger's aunt, Nikki Walker, recounted the ordeal on Instagram, accompanying photos that show the result of his brave actions.

She also pointed out that Bridger said that 'if someone had to die, it should have been him,' not his sister. Bridger got 90 stitches and is now recovering at home.

Bridger's aunt also tagged some of her nephew's "favorite heroes" in the post, including Chris Evans. And the Avengers actor soon got wind of the story, which also went viral.

Evans was so moved by Bridger's heroic deed and sent a video message to Bridger, saying:

"Pal, you're a hero. What you did was so brave, so selfless — your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother. Your parents must be so proud of you."

"Keep being the man you are. We need people like you. Hang in there, I know recovery might be tough, but based on what I've seen, I don't think there's much that can slow you down."

Chris also told Bridger that he'd be sending him 'an authentic Captain America shield because pal, you deserve it.'

Bridget's parents, Robert and Teila, captured his response to Evan's message as he sat with his sister clad in a Captain America costume.

Luckily, Bridger will make a full recovery from the sustained injuries, according to his aunt.

Evans wasn't the only movie star moved by Bridger's heroic actions.

The Hulk star, Mark Ruffalo, Spiderman actor, Tom Holland, and Wolverine star also reached out to the young fan.

It's safe to say Bridger is now an official member of the superheroes team — especially now that he has his own Captain America shield.

He's also a big fan of science, especially geology. His aunt intends to start a post where people can share pictures of cool rocks they had found for him.
