Jackass' And 'American Horror Story' Star Stevie Lee Dies Aged 54

Stevie Lee Richardson, the actor in projects such as Jackass, American Horror Story, and former TNA wrestler, died at 54.

His family confirmed the sad news and said he died "unexpectedly" in his home.

Aside from being an actor, Lee was also popular with wrestling fans, going by the stage name of 'Puppet, The Psycho Dwarf.'

Impact Wrestling took to Twitter to share their condolences and pay tribute to Lee.

They said:

"It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Stevie Lee, better known as Puppet The Psycho Dwarf."

"We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family."

Lee appeared in the third big-screen outing for Knoxville's hit TV show, Jackass. The series saw a group of friends who play dangerous stunts on each other.

In the show, Lee starred as a stunt who pulled a gun on fellow TNA wrestler Jeff Jarrett.

This film topped the US box office 10 years ago, with opening weekend takings of over $50 million.

Lee's other on-screen credits include Oz the Great and Powerful and American Horror Story: Freak Show.

He was also a member of the wrestling group Half Pint Brawlers.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to cover the costs of Lee's funeral. According to the page organizers, the aim is to give him 'one last curtain call.'

A statement on the page read:

"Steve "Puppet The Psycho Dwarf" Lee Richardson unexpectedly passed away…at his home.

"He was beloved by many and has many friends that were family, fans that adored him, but only his brother Jim left to take care of final arrangements."

"Puppet has put smiles across the world with his hardcore attitude and lifestyle. He is a legend in the art of Midget Wrestling."

"He needs our help to give him one last curtain call."

"Please donate what you can and also share his memories with everyone. [Lets] give the Psycho Dwarf the best resting place possible."

Lee's fans have also been taking to Twitter to share their tributes.

Professional wrestler Frankie Kazarian said:

"RIP Stevie Lee, aka Puppet the Psycho Dwarf. I'll never forget the crazy tour of the UK we shared and the fun we all had. Godspeed, my friend."

Another fan said:

"This year sucks. Stevie Lee was one of the toughest guys ever may he rest in eternal peace."

While a third person added:

"He made the Asylum days hardcore. Really stood out. Reaper, don't take down another TNA star. Give it a rest."
