Cops arrest a Florida man after a mom found explicit videos of her 'missing' daughter on pornography sites.
A 15-year-old girl who was missing for nearly a year has reunited with her mother after the mom spotted porn videos of her online.
Police found close to 60 pornographic photos and videos of the unnamed girl on sites such as Pornhub, Periscope, and Snapchat.
Some of the videos featured a man, identified as 30-year-old Christopher Johnson. According to detectives, he is the same man who was with the girl soon after her disappearance.
Police then tracked down and arrested Johnson. And the girl, who was 15 years old at the time of her disappearance, was in the car at the time of his arrest.
How Did the Teen Disappear?
According to the police report, the victim left her home in Sunrise, about 10 miles northwest of Fort Lauderdale, at around 3 a.m.
Two months later, a clerk spotted her at a convenience store with two men, one of whom police recently identified as Johnson.
The store employee then alerted authorities.
On store surveillance footage, the girl covered her face to hide her identity. However, when the clerk recognized her as the 'missing girl,' she immediately left the store.
The clerk told police that the girl and the two men then left in a black Dodge Challenger. However, the clerk didn't get the license plate.
A search for the car at the time was not successful.
About seven months later, police received a report that someone spotted the same black Dodge Challenger at a store in the area.
This time, police were able to get the license plate number and traced it back to Johnson's address.
Days later, detectives stopped Johnson and arrested him during a traffic stop after leaving his apartment with the girl.
While speaking to detectives, the girl said many of the videos were filmed with her cellphone inside Johnson's apartment.
Detective Adam Granit said:
[The girl] is either fully nude [or] topless in all videos. She also performs oral sex and sexual intercourse in at least two of the videos.
When officers questioned Johnson, he denied having sex with the girl.
However, the teen revealed Johnson had even impregnated her. He also took her to a clinic to have an abortion.
During a search of Johnson's apartment, detectives found the paperwork from an abortion clinic.
Johnson is now facing lewd and lascivious battery on a child charges. The court set his bail at $75,000.
